Nuevo Nouveau is inspired by Beaujolais Nouveau – a French wine making tradition where young wine is bottled less than two months after crushing the grapes (usually the third week of November). In the 1950s, winemakers began competing each year in a race to deliver the first bottles to Paris after harvest, and the competition became so popular that the Beaujolais Nouveau style of wine is now celebrated all over the world. Nuevo Nouveau pays homage to this tradition. This young wine displays a lovely garnet hue as vibrant as the wine’s flavor. With aromas of ripe dark berries and notes of bright strawberry and fresh cherry, this wine has a distinct zing and a classic berry tang.
