This Pinot Noir showcases beautiful New Mexican fruit from the Forbidden Desert Vineyard in Engle, New Mexico. It is made with an atypical production process that has been naturally occurring since the beginning of time; the grapes start their fermentation with wild (indigenous) yeast living on the grapes. The aroma of this Pinot Noir is sweet with licorice, pomegranate and plum notes, while the palate is bold with notes of mulling spices and tart cherry. This dry red wine is pleasing with a notable acidity and a satisfyingly bright, yet tannic, finish.
