What is an Orange Chenin Blanc?
Also known as skin-contact chenin blanc, skin-fermented chenin blanc, amber chenin blanc, or orange chenin blanc - is a type of wine made from white wine grapes where the grape skins are not removed, as is typical in white wine production, but stay in contact with the juice for days or even months.
Winemaker's Notes
Old, yet modernized, version of skin-fermented white wine with the indigenous yeast from our vineyard to start fermentation. Roundness in mouth-feel and complexity. Grapes harvested from 30+ year-old vines
Pear and stone fruit jump from the glass and balance out with a creamy soft tannic finish.
