Inspiration
Working with what is often the pinnacle varietal of dry red wine takes much care and preparation, starting in the vineyard. This wine was made from Old Vine Cabernet Sauvignon, from a vineyard planted in New Mexico in the 1980's. This wine showcases the beauty of the fruit with nuances of our stylistic selections in winemaking.
Taste
Robust black cherries, currant, and mixed berries on the nose, with a big, voluptuous expression of vanilla and coconut on the finish (from the 18th months aging in french oak)

Red meat, aged cheeses, a refined palate and celebrations.
